POST TYPE · TEACH
The quickest post to write and the one that keeps a daily rhythm alive. One instruction, why it works, one example from real work.
THE SHORT ANSWER
Start with the tip as an instruction — a verb first (“Ask for…”, “Write…”, “Check…”). Then two or three lines on why it works, one concrete example, and the one thing people get wrong doing it. Keep it under 120 words.
The instruction
Line 1 starts with a verb. Nothing before it.
Why it works
Two or three short lines.
One example
From daily work, concrete.
The catch
What people get wrong doing it.
Copy it and fill in the brackets.
[Verb] [the tip]. Why: [the reason, in two lines]. Example: [one concrete case]. The catch: [what people get wrong].
EXAMPLE — written for a made-up bakery.
Order bread for the weekend on Thursday, not Saturday morning. Why: we bake to orders first. By Saturday at nine the sourdough is spoken for. Example: last month a regular ordered on Thursday night and picked up three loaves while the queue was out the door. The catch: order online, not by message — messages get missed on a busy bake.
